Privacy Policy

We collect what we need to run live games, pay prizes and stay in touch with people who asked us to.

We never sell your personal information. The only advertising tool on the site is the Meta Pixel on our public pages, described below.

During a show we check your phone's location against Mission Control, but we store only how far away you were, never where you were.

▸Account details: your name, email, phone number and the Callsign you choose. Sign-in is handled by our account provider.

▸Waitlist details: first name, email, phone number (if you give one), ZIP code, how you heard about us and who referred you.

▸Tickets and check-in: which shows you booked, your Crew and when you checked in. When paid tickets launch, payments go through our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.

▸Gameplay: the photos your Crew's Captain takes in the game (they show your faces and the target), trivia answers, hints used and your times and scores.

▸Location during a show: the app reads your phone's GPS to check you're out of the start ring and back at Mission Control. We keep only the rounded distance from Mission Control and the GPS accuracy, not your coordinates. The app doesn't track you in the background.

▸Private event inquiries: the details you send us about your event.

▸Job applications: what you send to apply, including your video, Instagram handle, phone, ZIP code and questionnaire answers.

▸Consent records: the exact wording you agreed to and when, for example for marketing texts.

▸Technical basics: cookies needed to keep you signed in, and standard server logs (like IP address and browser) kept by our hosting provider for security.

▸Site visits: anonymous counts of pages viewed, the site that sent you, your country and device type, and whether a visit ended in a waitlist signup. This uses Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you across other sites. Staff pages aren't counted.

▸Advertising measurement: on our public pages (not your account, the game or staff pages) we use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and sends Meta the page you visited, your browser details and, when you join the waitlist, that a signup happened. We don't send Meta your name, email or phone number. Meta may link this to your Meta account under its own privacy policy. You can limit this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.

▸To run shows: tickets, Crews, check-in, clues, scoring, results and prizes.

▸To keep games fair and safe: reviewing photos and results, preventing cheating and responding to incidents.

▸To contact you about your account, tickets and shows you booked (for example your ticket email and reminders).

▸To send news and offers, only if you opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; reply STOP to any marketing text.

▸To review job applications and private event inquiries.

▸To understand how people find and use the site, from anonymous visit counts, so we can improve it.

▸To measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and show them to people likely to be interested.

▸To meet legal obligations, such as prize tax reporting.

▸Other players see your Callsign, your Crew's name and results. Your Crew sees each other's Callsigns.

▸Our hosts and staff see what they need to run a show, including game photos.

▸Service providers who process data for us under contract: account sign-in (Clerk), our database and file storage (Supabase), website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend), marketing email (Klaviyo), advertising measurement (Meta, as described above), and, once launched, payments (Stripe) and text messaging.

▸Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

We don't sell or rent personal information. Apart from the Meta Pixel described above, we don't share it with advertisers.

Game photos are used to run and verify the game. We won't use a photo of you in advertising without asking you first.

We don't use facial recognition on your photos.

We keep information while your account is active and as long as we need it for the reasons above, such as settling results, paying prizes, handling disputes and meeting tax and legal duties. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.

▸Unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any email, and from marketing texts by replying STOP.

▸Ask to see, correct or delete your information: email hello@cashdashgame.com. We may need to keep some records (like prize payments) where the law requires it.

▸Turn off location for this site in your phone's settings any time. You'll need it on during a show to play.

Cash Dash is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger; if you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and sensitive staff actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe and will tell you if a breach affects you as the law requires.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell you by email or in the app.
